Ocean Spray is kicking off the new year with a TV campaign to highlight the health benefits of cranberries. The juice maker is this week bringing back the creatives, first aired last summer, in which it mocked the lengths people will go to in order to look good inside. It hopes to replicate the success of the 2007 campaign, which resulted in an additional one million litres being sold in five weeks, said Jonathan Duffin, business development manager. The ads, which will run for three weeks, feature Kate, a fan of extreme health spa treatments, and Fiona, who prefers drinking Ocean Spray Cranberry to "help protect you inside". "With consumers around the country resolving to look after their health in the New Year, demand for products that complement a healthier lifestyle will be high," said Duffin.
