Tetley's Tea Folk are being sent to South Africa in a £2.5m TV campaign to raise awareness of the brand's Redbush variant. On air from next month, the ad features Gaffer and his team being shown around by a 'Redbush Ranger' to see where Redbush is grown. Tetley said the Redbush tea sector had grown in the past year, but claimed consumer awareness of its benefits remained "relatively low".
