Wilkinson Sword is gearing up for its key pre-summer season with a £10m push for Quattro starting with TV ads next week. Forming the start of a wider campaign, including press, online and in-store activity, the two new television commercials - one for the male and one for the female products - will run for four weeks and carry the new strapline ‘Free your skin’. “Quattro for Women is already the number one female system razor in the category with sales growing 30% year-on-year,” said Wibke Stoffers, marketing manager. “We want to further consolidate this and achieve similar success with Quattro Titanium Precision for men.” The ads depict dark oppressive scenes being shaved away to reveal beautiful landscapes, symbolising “effortless” shaving.
