Wyke Farms is bringing its brand to the small screen to tell the story of its 100-year-old family farming heritage. Running for a week in October, the advert tells the tale of Ivy Clothier, the founder of the company, who developed the company's original Cheddar cheese recipe in 1902. "We know consumers value our history and are interested in our farming methods so telling the Wyke story was an obvious choice for the advert," said Richard Clothier, third generation family member and current managing director. The ad will run across the Central, West Country, Wales and West, Carlton London, Granada and Meridian regions, and is expected to be seen by five million viewers. Wyke Farms, one of the UK's top-selling cheese brands, has previously focused on packaging and print ads.
