Cannabis-flavoured drinks are being removed from sale after it was ruled that they break Portman Group rules on the naming, packaging and promotion of alcoholic drinks.

Bottles of cannabis-flavoured gin, vodka and absinthe, produced by Spanish company Beveland SA and imported into the UK by Ultimate Brands, carry what appears to be a cannabis leaf on their labels, according to the Portman Group. The content of the drinks did not breach any rules.

Ultimate Brands has said it will stop importing the drinks.
