The pack has suffered from wind and frost damage earlier in the season, leaving a lot of fruit on the ground. The losses are not thought to have gone over 15%, but it means that some summer lines may be a bit short. With no European peach stocks readily available and the summer still to run before Greek pack arrives, one might expect a lively interest in South African product.
