A South African wine range that will help push up the price point of the country's wines in the UK is being launched into the off-trade.
Stratford's Wine Agencies is launching wines by Cape First Wines, based in South Africa's Stellenbosch region.
The range comprises two labels, Makana and Hill Station, which will retail from £4.49 to £5.49. The portfolio also includes the Makana Reserve, Hill Station Reserve and Makana Boutique ranges, which will retail between £7.99 and £10.99. MD Paul Stratford said: "This is a key development for Stratford's, fitting in with our objective to develop our South African offering."
