A team of England football legends - 'the best in the world' - gives a local pub Sunday league side a good kicking in the latest TV advert from Carlsberg.
The ad pitches footballing greats such as Peter Shilton, Bryan Robson, Sir Bobby Charlton and Alan Ball against a side of amateurs. The team, called the Old Lions and led by former England manager Sir Bobby Robson, boasts a combined tally of 796 England caps and shows the old guard haven't lost their winning touch.
Being shown first this weekend on Sky Sports 1, creatives of 20, 40 and 60 seconds will run until the end of June, along with the strapline 'Carlsberg don't do pub teams, but if they did they'd probably be the best in the world'.
It is part of a £10.5m World Cup themed spend for the brand this year.
