Roger Carr, deputy chairman of Cadbury Schweppes, is set to be named as chairman of the confectionery giant tomorrow (Tuesday).

Carr, who joined Cadbury's board of directors in January 2001, will succeed Sir John Sunderland who announced his retirement last year, according to the Financial Times.

Cadbury Schweppes also reports its full-year figures tomorrow and analysts are keen to hear the company's progress on demerging its confectionery and US soft drinks businesses.
