An own-label luxury pastry chef has launched her own artisan cheesecake duo with Booths.
Charlotte Marrifield, who has spent “decades” making own-label puddings for Marks & Spencer and Waitrose, launched her handmade Undeniably Charlotte brand into 31 Booths stores last week (rsp: £4/pack of two).
The duo comprises a raspberry & Madagascan vanilla cheesecake and a passion fruit cheesecake.
Marrifield, who founded the business via her Harrogate boutique patisserie Sugar Therapy, said further chilled desserts would be launched under the Undeniably Charlotte brand in the next year, adding a listing with Waitrose was “on the horizon”.
The entrepreneur opened Sugar Therapy in 2010 but she has now closed the café part of the business to concentrate on her retail venture.
