In an interesting move this week, Channel 4, the contradictory peddler of high culture and base smut, formed a £1m fund to subsidise food companies advertising on the channel. Judging by its recent risqué efforts, Orangina would seem a decent partner for Channel Phwoar, although maybe the Freudian delights of, say, Flake or Magnum could benefit from a little late-night collaboration. Either way, odd timing considering it also announced this week it planned to axe 150 jobs due to the advertising downturn.
