Chicago Town's latest TV advert plugs its new on-pack promotion for its frozen pizzas as far from humdrum.

The ad, which airs on Monday (May 8), shows a 'Humdrum' resident holding a roadside promotion with a sign reading, 'Shoe - buy one, get one free', before highlighting its more enticing Diner's Deal.

The deal offers shoppers four 25p-off coupons for a range of Chicago Town products and will feature on 3.5 million packs across three variants of its 13cm individual Deep Dish pizzas - Triple Cheese, Pepperoni and Ham & Pineapple - while 1.5 million homes will get door-drop flyers.

Paula Wyatt, senior brand manager, said the activity was a result of research indicating many regular customers were unaware of the full range of products. She added that the door-drop activity would also reach out to non-Chicago Town consumers.
