The Citrus Marketing Board of Israel is to license its famous Jaffa logo on other fruit suppliers and food manufacturers internationally. The cash from royalties will be used to help fund sales promotion and other activities for its own fruit. While there have been discussions with other sectors of the fresh produce industry to examine possibilities, the board has made it clear that fruit with the name would have to match its quality standards.
