Cobra Beer is launching an advertising campaign on the London Undergound and in magazines from Monday (September 13) as part of its drive to become mainstream.
The £750,000 promotion takes an Inspired theme and focuses on the blend of hops, maize, yeast, barley malt and rice used to produce the ‘less
gassy’ beer. A spokeswoman said the visuals aimed to reflect Cobra’s position as the “little guy” who had succeeded against the big brands, winning listings with Tesco and Waitrose and from this month with Asda for its new four-pack.
More than 4,000 cards of four creatives will be displayed on the Tube for eight weeks.
