Coca-Cola Enterprises has launched a scheme to help independent retailers get the most out of their soft drinks offer.
Under the Chilled+ initiative, the supplier reviews a retailer’s range against best-selling products in the category and then uses the data to recommend a tailored range and planogram.
CCE said it wanted to reach up to 5,000 indies by July this year. “We can advise on the best range for each store based on national bestsellers, as well as allowing space for each store’s individual bestsellers,” said CCE sales and customer development director Darren Goldney.
“Convenience shoppers want easy access and to get in and out of the store quickly.”
