Coca-Cola is rolling out the BRC’s on-pack recycling label across its entire range of soft drinks.

It will start adding the BRC logo to 500ml bottles of Coca-Cola, Coke Zero and Diet Coke before introducing it across the rest of its range.

A spokesman for Coca-Cola said it hadn’t used the logo on its products before now because of its partnership with Keep Britain Tidy, which has now ended.

“We are happy to change to the messaging developed by the BRC and WRAP, which is increasingly used by industry,” said a spokesman for Coca-Cola. “The symbology provides a clear and dynamic recycling and non-littering message to consumers.”
