Coca-Cola has unveiled its first new global packaging redesign in decades in a move to recapture its original iconic visual identity.

New technology will enable the "authentic Coca-Cola red" to be printed on an aluminium can, as previously the colour could not be replicated. It has decluttered the design and opted for a clear white single ribbon rather than the recent multi-coloured design.

All 16 Coca-Cola brands will also now carry Wrap's Recycle Now logo.
