Whatever will they think of next? Just as British consumers get used to green ketchup and other colourful offerings from Heinz (see page 54), consumers elsewhere have also been tucking into foods with unusual hues. Not least among these is one of Nestlé's launches in South Africa which even takes the concept a step further. Its Crosse & Blackwell Gloob ­ a blue, bubble gum flavour mayonnaise ­ hit shelves last May but is only available on limited distribution. In the US, the quest for the unusual has also continued for Heinz with Ez Squirt purple-coloured tomato ketchup, while ConAgra put the colour concept into margarine last September. Its blue or pink Fun Squeeze, under the Parkay banner, is unsurprisingly aimed at kids and packaged in squeeze bottles. {{P&P }}
