Polystyrene prices in the EU are up 18.2% month on month due to tight styrene supplies - the weak euro has made imports more expensive.

HDPE prices have continued to rise - up 16.4% month on month - due to low supply volumes and higher demand from packaging manufacturers. However, prices remain 8.3% below this time last year.

Sri Lankan tea prices have fallen as a result of increased supplies in February, when production rose 13% year on year to 25.5 million tonnes.

Kenyan tea prices have fallen further after rainfall in the main growing regions. Prices are down 5% month on month but remain 9.6% higher year on year as a result of low production in the first two months of the year.
