UK hazelnut prices remain up hugely year on year and month on month, as low supplies and good demand from the confectionery industry boost value. At present, Turkish hazelnut production is set to be down 25% year on year.

EU sultana prices are falling in value month on month as a result of reduced production of dried grapes in Turkey. Estimates currently point to Turkish production being up 30% year on year.

UK dried apricot prices are also decreasing month on month as demand has eased. However, prices remain significantly above 2014 levels.

Indian black pepper prices remain steady, as new crop harvests are forecast to be down 10% year on year in Vietnam following dry weather conditions. However, prices remain high year on year.

Desiccated coconut prices remain high and are up month on month and year on year. This has been the case since Typhoon Haiyan hit in 2013.
