South African fruit grower trade body Hortgro has teamed up with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund for its latest UK promo push.
Promotional activity begins in December, with Hortgro donating a percentage of proceeds to a fund to build a hospital in Johannesburg.
Shoppers will also be able to sample fruit and win copies of the 2013 film, ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ on participating packs of apples, pears, peaches, nectarines and plums.
