This availability triumph coupled with the store providing high levels of customer service and an inviting shopping environment marked it out as the clear winner of our Top Store award.
Store manager Henri Henriques said he was particularly thrilled to have claimed the award this week as it has been a challenging time for the eight year old store.
"The combination of Guy Fawkes night and half term meant that last week was a real record breaker for sales," he said.
"This year we had our biggest ever fireworks offer that attracted a staggering amount of interest and contributed heavily to the uplift."
The store also attracts a much higher proportion of wealthy achievers than a typical Morrisons according to CACI data. "We have a diverse customer profile meaning we have to work hard to ensure we meet everyone's' needs."
And he has plans to meet even more needs by expanding the 25,000 sq ft store's non food offer.
"Non food is becoming increasingly important but we are quite limited in terms of what we can stock because our size," he said.
"I have been in talks with directors about the possibility of expanding internally with a view to growing non food. It would help us to be more competitive."
