Boots' claims it is cheaper than Tesco on toiletries have been upheld by the Advertising Standards Authority which rejected a complaint made by Tesco that Boots had made misleading price claims. It judged as fair a Boots regional press advert that stated: What they don't tell you is that a family could save up to £51 a year on everyday toiletries by taking advantage of the hundreds of offers always available at Boots instead of paying Tesco's Everyday Low Price.' Complaints about a regional press advert were also rejected. In October the ASA upheld a complaint by Boots that a Tesco leaflet claiming it was cheeper than Boots on prices was misleading. {{NEWS }}
