Asda has launched an educational website for children, parents and teachers on healthy eating. A family of cartoon characters called The Binks guides users through the website, where they can download interactive sources that support the National Curriculum.

“The site educates children about all aspects of food, including where and how it is grown and the best way to cook it,” said Asda’s brand manager Natalie Cunningham.

The site, asda-thebinks.co.uk, is backed by the Food Standards Agency and notched up 4,000 users in its first week.
