Asda has joined forces with male-specific cancer charity Orchid to help raise money for research.

Throughout this year, some 15,000 Asda employees across 23 of the retailer’s distribution depots will be fundraising for the charity in a variety of ways, including marathons, skydiving and head shaves.

Asda said it hoped to raise up to £250,000 as a result of the partnership.

The retailer will also be helping Orchid spread “vital health messages” via the charity’s regional road shows and Community Golf Programme.
