Ben & Jerry’s has won a court in the US order banning the sale of a series of X-rated films called Ben & Cherry’s.

The temporary order blocking the sale of the 10 DVDs was made a day after Ben & Jerry’s sued the Californian film makers Caballero for trademark infringement.

Lawyers claimed the X-rated films, which included titles like ‘Boston Cream Thigh’ and ‘Peanut Butter D-Cup’ tarnished the name of Ben & Jerry’s and caused “confusion, mistake or deception” regarding the company’s trademarks.

The complaint said the DVDs’ packaging ripped off that of Ben & Jerry’s, featuring fluffy clouds and grazing cows, set amid more explicit images.
