Bank of Scotland and Spar are set to assess the feasibility of their their pilot c-store bank at Spar chain Botterills store in Inverkeithing, near Edinburgh, next week. But the future of the 500ft concession launched six months ago looks secure, said Botterill's md and incoming Scottish Grocers' Federation president Jim Botterill. He said: "The store has consistently exceeded targets and customer numbers are up. We are confident the project has long-term viability." Bank of Scotland is using the project to explore ways of building its presence in rural areas where a full scale branch is not financially viable. l Rival Scottish c-store chain Morning, Noon & Night has renewed its five- year contract for the Bank of Scotland to install and maintain ATMs at all its stores. {{NEWS }}
