Budgens is launching a new loyalty scheme enabling customers to collect stamps that can be redeemed for weekend breaks at hotels across the UK.

The scheme, launching on September 11 at 95 stores, gives customers a stamp for every £5 spent in-store (excluding lottery, tobacco, vouchers and petrol).

Shoppers collecting 25 stamps will get a two-night break in one of 210 three or four-star hotels for £59 per person, said advertising and promotions manager Jacqueline Davis. "It’s a way for us to reward our regular customers and attract new shoppers to our stores."
