The Association of Convenience Stores has launched a fresh recruitment drive for independents. It has also announced three new retail group members and a new Premier Club member. Aberness Foods, the Scottish Mace wholesaler, has enrolled with its 30 company owned stores, as have United Norwest and South West Co-ops. Moneybox, the cash machine supplier, has become the latest ACS Premier Club member. ACS chief executive Trevor Dixon said: "We are actively seeking to attract more independent members to give them a voice in what is the most vibrant sector of the retail industry and have them benefit from the services offered by ACS." {{NEWS }}
