Never averse to a bit of bare-faced cheek, Asda has been engaged in some shameless exposure to promote its latest retail format in Glasgow Fort.

It decided to enlist living dolls to advertise the first Asda Living in Scotland, which opened this week. On Easter Saturday, the 23,000 sq ft non food store featured a window display using live models. No doubt they felt like dummies at times as they were ogled by passers-by, dressed as they were solely in Asda Living till roll material.

Asda stressed the attire was not an example of the future direction of the George label.
