Limited distribution saw 70 Booker cash and carries which were trialing Pokémon [TM] cards run out of supplies last week.
Booker is the only cash and carry operator with rights to carry the cards.
At some depots stocks of the trading game were exhausted within 15 minutes of going on sale.
Booker marketing director Steven Sharp said: "We are waiting for he next delivery."
A spokeswoman added: "It is anticipated new supplies will come into branches this week."
