Budgens' Poundbury Village Stores in Dorset has been visited by Prince Charles.
The 2,000 sq ft supermarket, owned by independent retailer Keith Heffernan was opened on February 27 and is the most recent addition to the Budgens Local portfolio.
The Prince met Budgens Musgrave UK executive chairman Eoin McGettigan and Heffernan as part of a visit marking the 10th anniversary of Poundbury village on his Duchy of Cornwall estate.
McGettigan said: "We are proud that the Prince was able to include the village store as part of his visit."
Poundbury is the only Budgens store not carrying the Budgens fascia, because it did not fit with Prince Charles' design blueprint for the village.
