The Co-operative Group has signed off plans for an aggressive 160-store refit programme for Alldays this year after the first 10 refitted stores generated double-digit uplifts.

This commits the society to four to five refits week, no mean feat considering it is still in the final stages of refurbishing its existing estate following the merger with CRS.

Alldays buying has now been transferred to the CRTG buying group, prices have been cut across the estate, and all stores will start receiving deliveries of chilled, fresh and frozen goods this month.
