Costcutter is aiming to raise its profile this year through its sponsorship of the Under 15 World Cricket Challenge 2000. In the coming weeks every symbol group member will sport posters promoting the event and competitions will give customers the opportunity to win tickets to matches. Costcutter is mailing out 5,000 promotional pamphlets to schools, and packaging on both own label and a limited range of branded products will bare the U15 logo. Managing director Colin Graves said: "Costcutter's sponsorship is very much an investment in the development of young cricket talent." The tournament starts on July 19 with the final match at Lord's on August 10. The company is on course to reach its target of 1,000 stores this year. {{NEWS }}
