Nisa-Today’s has recruited Steve Dixon as trading controller for its chilled and frozen food department, replacing Geoff Buttery, who left on January 9 to emigrate to New Zealand.
Dixon is responsible for products such as pizzas, yogurts, desserts and fresh juices.
He joins from Troy Foods, where he was commercial manager. He has also worked in the sales divisions of Müller Dairy, Fisher Foods, Eden Vale and Coca-Cola.
He said: “I’m anticipating working closely with members and suppliers to achieve our shared goals.”
Dixon reports to John Sharpe, managing director of central distribution services, who said: “Steve’s extensive experience in the trade and hands-on sales expertise can only be beneficial to our core role of providing our members with the best possible range, service and prices.”
