Nisa-Today’s has promoted Neil Turton to the position of chief operating officer. In a new role, Turton, who was most recently MD of group commercial, will focus on sales, marketing, trading and operations.
Turton joined Nisa-Today’s in 1991, working initially on own label. In 1999 he was promoted to the position of MD for the company’s central buying team.
In 2004 he became MD of Nisa-Today’s group commercial department where he was responsible for managing all aspects of relationships with retail members.
In his new role Turton will have overall responsibility for the running and development of Nisa-Today’s, working closely with John Schofield who has been promoted to the new role of chief financial officer.
Schofield joined Nisa-Today’s 12 years ago as group finance director. In 2003 he became group MD of Nisa-Today’s.
Both Turton and Schofield will report to executive chairman Dudley Ramsden.
