Seafood processor Macrae Edinburgh, part of the Macrae Food Group which is owned by Young’s Bluecrest, has promoted sales and marketing manager Katrina Durward to the senior board of the company.
Durward has worked at Macrae Edinburgh, which supplies Waitrose with its ready-to-eat seafood products, for five years and joined as marketing executive. Prior to Macrae, she was a training manager for Aberdeen Enterprise Trust.
Macrae has also appointed Andrew Bontoft to the newly created position of business development manager for Macrae Seafoods in Hull.
And at its Strathaird Salmon operation in Inverness, Macrae has promoted Gillian Betts to become the factory’s new financial controller.
Macrae Food Group has processing facilities in Fraserburgh, Inverness, Grantown-on-Spey, Edinburgh, Hull and Wiltshire.
The group employs around 1,300 people.
