More e-biz opportunities are being lined up by Asda's Allan Leighton as he prepares to leave the Wal-Mart subsidiary within the next two weeks.
Leighton claimed to have received as many as 60 e-biz proposals since announcing he was "going plural".
Speaking the day before it emerged he had been appointed non executive chairman of Lastminute.com, Leighton said he was looking at six proposals.
But Leighton made it clear he had no plans to work anywhere as a consultant.
"I could never be a consultant. It would drive me round the twist."
