Fromer Asda boss Allan Leighton has been snapped up by the Post Office in a bid to turn round its fortunes. Leighton, who has taken on roles at five companies including BHS chairman since "going plural", has been appointed to the board of Consignia, the renamed Post Office holding company, as a non-executive director for two years. The DTI said the new director would have special responsibility for the future development of the Post Office Network. {{NEWS }}
