Costcutter will soon have an internet based communication system if plans for its recently launched corporate web site come to fruition. The web site at currently contains a store locator, customer liaison resources, 60 second cookshop and information on Costcutter's commitment. But according to Costcutter the site will gradually form the backbone for ordering and communication between the group's membership, as well as providing a platform for localised promotions and competitions. Project manager Steve Lydiatt said: "This involves moving beyond our initial e-business site, to eventually encompass e-commerce and have an integrated information exchange. "It will eventually become an integral part of everyday business." The group expects the majority of services to be up and running by the middle of the year. {{NEWS }}
