Diageo and Asda are inviting customers in 150 stores to take part in a 'unit-versity challenge' game, where they will be asked if they know the alcohol content of various drinks.

As a reward to those taking part, 60,000 jiggers (35ml spirit measures) will be given out to encourage people drinking spirits at home to measure their alcohol intake.

"The measures will help them understand alcohol levels, provide them with a tool to make the perfect drink and also a talking point to spread the word," said David Leigh, BWS category development manager at Asda.
