Iceland is to bring IT strategy in line across the group under the supervision of new group information systems director Steve Hogan. Hogan has been IT director of Booker cash and carry since 1998. He will now look at developing and implementing information systems across Booker, Iceland, and Woodward Foodservice. He also becomes a member of the group executive board. Hogan joined Booker from Coca-Cola Enterprises where he was European central services director, a promotion from his previous position as head of marketing at Coca-Cola Schweppes Beverages. He has also worked at Ranks Hovis McDougall. Iceland chief executive Bill Grimsey said: "Streamlining information systems across the group will be a big task and has a key role in driving the business forward. Steve has demonstrated that he is more than equal to the challenge." Iceland has also appointed John Maxwell a non-executive director. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
