Morrisons has launched a recruitment drive as it continues to roll out its new pharmacy concept across its estate.
The retailer is looking for pharmacy managers, pharmacists, relief pharmacists and dispensers.
It is looking to recruit pharmacy managers in 17 stores across Britain, from Stewartfield in Glasgow to Hastings, in East Sussex, and is also looking for pharmacists to work in 22 of its stores.
Morrisons said that the development of in-store pharmacies was building on the established success of the Safeway pharmacies and that it was looking for innovative people to help build the potential of the feature.
As reported in The Grocer last week (p8), Morrisons has adapted the former Safeway pharmacy operations as a store-within-a-store format to fit its Market Street format and has started to to roll out the concept to its core estate as well as to the converted Safeway stores.
