Retailers using Booker's depot in Chester can now buy Iceland own label products as part of a limited trial by the cash and carry group. From this week, the depot is stocking 120 of Iceland's top selling frozen lines. But a Booker spokeswoman played down the significance of what she stressed was only a trial. "We are testing demand for Iceland retail products within cash and carry," she said. "The range enhances Booker's current frozen food offer and obviously we are looking to use group strengths to benefit our retail customers wherever possible." The test is the first public sign of Iceland and Booker working closer together since their merger was announced in May. {{NEWS }}
