The IGD has released the first book in its new Account Watch' series of publications, providing in-depth analyses of major grocery retailers in the UK. Tesco is the first multiple to be featured in the series, which will be updated twice a year, said IGD spokeswoman Jane Beard. "Account Watch is concise, up to date, colourful, and provides far more strategic analysis than previous publications." The guides offer detailed analyses of retailers' latest interim figures, store portfolios, marketing strategies, supply chain initiatives, commercial strategies and international operations.
