Former Asda chief Allan Leighton says he will have his hands full with his latest role as Bhs chairman, but rumours about a move for M&S persist. Bhs owner Philip Green recently made an abortive bid for M&S and the appointment of Robin Saunders, the financier who backed Green's bid, as non executive director at the firm has also fuelled the rumour mill. But Leighton insisted: "Before we decide who we are going to buy we'd better fix this bloody business." Turning Bhs round would take at least 18 months, he added. {{NEWS }}
