Asda's latest publicity drive is to recruit someone who can impersonate famous voices. Asda has put an ad in The Stage to find a famous' voice to stop "spacehogs". It is rolling out a talking parking system to stop able-bodied folk from parking in disabled-only parking spots. Asda's list of likely candidates for the voice of Spacehog includes John McEnroe. Just imagine it: "You cannot be serious ... you can't park here". Bruce Forsyth: "Nice to see you, to see you nice, but not here" And Chris Tarrant: "Are you sure you want to park here? Is that your final answer?" Who in the grocery industry might be more suitable? Answers to:grocereditorial@william-reed.co.uk {{COUNTERPOINT }}
