Brewer InBev has appointed Andreas Hilger as its new marketing director.

He replaces Devin Kelly who left the company at the end of last year to return to his native US.

Hilger moves from InBev in Germany, where as marketing director he was responsible for the double-digit growth of premium beer brand Beck's following the launch of product extensions such as Beck's Gold and Beck's Green Lemon.

Hilger, who has spent 12 years in the beer industry, was previously marketing vice president for InBev with global responsibility for Becks, Staropramen, Leffe and Hoegaarden. He will join InBev UK on 1 March.
