Nisa is the latest symbol group to launch a design-led store format that is aimed primarily at c-stores of up to 2,500 sq ft. It joins a roster of symbol operators including Spar with its Millennium store, Londis with Genesis and P&H McLane's revamped Mace in offering retailers a refreshed store model. The Nisa Innovation model includes a new-look counter which is ergonomically designed to speed up customer service and incorporates a trolley-point. Coloured goal posts signify different product sectors in store, and there will be acrylic mirror panels, as well as the latest chill and freezer equipment. Externally, the fascia is brighter, with pictorial vinyls to attract customers inside the store. Nisa commercial director John Heagney said: "The quality standards of our Nisa fascia scheme will be enhanced, ensuring that the Nisa name retails its high reputation." Nisa now has more than 150 retailers trading under its national Nisa fascia which launched in 1998. {{NEWS }}
