Sir; Over the last decade I've watched in admiration as Tesco has soared above the competition to become the UK's leading supermarket. I have done the majority of my grocery shopping with them, but I fear what goes up must come down and my recent experience suggests Tesco may be growing complacent. Early in the evening of Thursday, January 3, the sight that met me was one of desolation. The fresh produce department had been stripped bare. I was hardly looking for anything exotic  baking potatoes for example  but none were to be found. I then went to the nearby Budgens, which has a limited range, but most of it was available. If only Budgens had a greater range of vegetarian meal options I could be tempted to switch my allegiance. E Richards Westmeston East Sussex {{LETTERS }}
